Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy Join Hands Again for a New Thriller_我的网站

尼基塔第三季

一 |     Mohanlal is stepping into yet another exciting phase of his career, and this time he is returning to a space where he has delivered some of his most memorable performances. Ashiq Usman Productions has officially confirmed a new film that reunites the legendary actor with director Tharun Moorthy. The announcement arrived with a photo that featured Mohanlal alongside the creative heads, instantly sparking interest among fans and industry watchers. The collaboration follows the spectacular success of Thudarum, which cemented Tharun Moorthy as one of the most promising storytellers in Malayalam cinema. The new film is written by Ratheesh Ravi, a screenwriter known for his ability to create emotionally grounded, socially aware stories. His works, including Pullikkaran Staraa, Ishq, and Adi, showcase a writing style rooted in realism and moral tension. This new collaboration is expected to carry the same narrative strength, although the makers are holding back details of the story for now. Early conversations around the film suggest that Mohanlal will once again step into the police uniform, a role that audiences have loved him in for decades. However, insiders insist that the storyline is entirely different from anything the actor has done recently.Shaji Kumar has been brought on board as the cinematographer. His long association with Mohanlal has given Malayalam cinema some unforgettable frames. They have previously worked together on films such as Naran, Pulimurugan, and most recently Thudarum. His visual sensibilities have always meshed well with Mohanlal’s on-screen language, and their partnership has often resulted in rich, atmospheric storytelling. The team that has been assembled so far hints at a production that aims for both scale and emotional depth.                                                                 View this post on Instagram          A post shared by Ashiq Usman Productions (@ashiqusmanproductions_)                              A Previous Project Falls Away, Opening Space for a New Idea     This announcement comes right after a surprising development from the same production house. Earlier in the year, Ashiq Usman Productions had revealed another Mohanlal film written by Ratheesh Ravi, with debutant Austin Dan Thomas set to direct. The project, initially called L 365, was meant to showcase Mohanlal in a police officer role after a considerable gap. The film made headlines at the time, but new information suggests that the project has now been shelved entirely. The reasons have not been disclosed, but sources close to the team indicate that the creative direction shifted and the new Tharun Moorthy film will explore a different policing narrative. It is a rare situation where a cancelled project ends up clearing the path for a collaboration that fans were already hoping to see. Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy had expressed interest in reuniting earlier, and this new film seems to have arrived at the right moment. The two were also planning another project with producer M Renjith, which was revealed during the celebratory event for Thudarum. The status of that film remains unclear, leaving observers curious about which project will go into production first.          Tharun Moorthy’s Expanding Slate and What It Means for the Industry     Tharun Moorthy is steadily becoming one of the most sought after directors in Malayalam cinema. His upcoming schedule reflects a filmmaker in high demand. Apart from the new Mohanlal film, he is working on Torpedo, a star-studded venture that brings together Fahadh Faasil, Naslen, Arjun Das, and Ganapathi. He is also preparing Operation Cambodia, with Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. This project functions as the sequel to Operation Java, the film that announced Tharun’s arrival as an exciting new voice in the industry. The reunion with Mohanlal adds another layer of anticipation. Their first film together established a creative partnership that clearly resonated with audiences. The decision to return with a story that reportedly explores the police force once again suggests a synthesis of craft and star power. With Ashiq Usman Productions backing the venture, expectations for strong production values and a story with emotional weight are already taking shape. As fans await further announcements, the industry is watching closely. This new collaboration feels like the beginning of another significant chapter for both Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy, one that may shape the next season of Malayalam cinema. Also Read: Pranav Mohanlal’s Dies Irae All Set to Bring Chills to Streaming Platform。

Central China's Hunan Province, a key locality in developing trade ties with African countries, aims to ramp up its foreign trade with Africa to 80 billion yuan ($11.86 billion) by 2028, according to a three-year action plan posted on the provincial government's website on Sunday.
The action plan focuses on 12 key African countries, aiming to build about 10 landmark projects involving production capacity cooperation and create one or two pilot projects under the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" model. The plan also aims to establish a service system for economic and trade cooperation with Africa.
The action plan highlights six of the province's competitive industries - mining, automobiles and parts, construction machinery, medical devices, modern agriculture, and green energy - and specifies differentiated and industry-specific development paths to form a full-chain and actionable road map.
The road map is one of the seven major measures outlined by Hunan to further improve trade and economic cooperation with African countries. The move is also aimed at tapping into a national policy that took effect on May 1, which expanded zero-tariff treatment to cover 53 African countries that have diplomatic relations with China.
In 2025, Hunan's trade with African countries totaled 58 billion yuan, ranking first for the seventh consecutive year among China's central and western provinces.
A Chinese analyst said on Sunday that as a locality and free trade zone that pioneers in China's trade and economic cooperation with African countries, Hunan enjoys a high level of industrial complementarity with African trading partners. Deepened cooperation between China and Africa will have particular significance amid the global headwinds of protectionism, said the analyst.
"The province's leading construction machinery sector could fit African countries' need to upgrade their raw material trade greatly and boost local industrialization. There is a perfect match of advanced Chinese production capacity with local development needs by these countries seeking to diversify their exports category," Song Wei, a professor at the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University, told the Global Times on Sunday.
Hunan has in recent years beefed up exchange and training programs for African experts, and emerging sectors such as agricultural products processing will serve as the new growth drivers of the province's cooperation with trading partners on that continent, building on the new opportunities brought by China's opening-up and a notable rise in African agricultural exports to China, Song said.
In particular, the action plan calls for improving supporting facilities for mining projects in Africa, expanding the scale of resource shipments back to China, boosting exports of mining equipment, and gradually building mining testing laboratories and setting up an investment fund for exploration in Africa in the mining sector.
The province also looks to increase exports of knocked-down vehicle kits, explore ride-hailing markets in key African countries, and expand used car exports in the automotive and parts sector and speed up product market certification to promote exports of medical equipment and supplies through China-Africa friendship hospitals in the medical device sector.
In the construction machinery sector, the action plan calls for improving alignment with Chinese-invested major infrastructure and mining engineering projects in Africa, expanding exports of branded machinery, and promoting exports of remanufactured construction machinery.
For modern agriculture, the province will set up integrated centers in Africa for agricultural machinery production, sales, and services, simultaneously cultivate projects that integrate production and trade, and coordinate the expansion of exports of competitive products and imports of distinctive African agricultural products.
In the first seven months of 2026, China's total trade with Africa reached 1.66 trillion yuan, up 18.9 percent year-on-year, closely trailing the growth rate of ASEAN at 20 percent year-on-year and making it one of China's fastest-growing trade partners.
The value of exports to Africa grew by 20.4 percent while that of imports shot up by 16.4 percent.
